Testimonial:

“I look back with profound gratitude on the Lamu Womens Happiness Retreat. Monika is a gentle but powerful teacher, assisting me to find deep healing and understanding as we meditate, stretch our bodies with yoga, expand ourselves with breath, laugh, cry, dance, and simply just BE in each magical moment. Sharing and connecting with women from Lamu and all over the world enhances this experience, as does the beautiful setting of Banana House with its kind staff and delicious food. Then there’s the perfect surrounds of Shela, it’s friendly people and spacious beach. The warm breath of the ocean, the stillness of the dunes, sailing between islands with the wind, and the embrace of the rising and setting sun and moon, will remain in my heart.”

Aqua yoga was the best of all – and for people like me who are partially physically disabled, it offers endless possibilities. Being able to do a handstand for the first time since I was in my early twenties was euphoric. A magical experience I return to when life feels stressful.

Sumali – Kenya

It was my second time in a row. My expectations were super high, and I wasn’t disappointed. The classes were amazing, and the venues were awesome. Thank you all for the positive vibes and the energy you gave me, especially now that I’m forced into a strict quarantine in my apartment in Rome.

Gioia - Rome, Italy

The wonderful memories: amazing experiences, love and laughter shared with beautiful souls on the festivals will always accompany me. I am looking forward to great times ahead.

I’m so happy to have participated. I was able to experience the best and most profound meditation there. It was well organized, and I have a lot of wonderful memories on different levels.
